To provide core device management and authorization features, we may collect the following information:

  • Device Identifiers: To identify authorized devices and manage device binding, we collect your phone's Device ID (UUID) and hardware model name.
  • Account and Authorization Information: If you use a Serial Number (SN) for device activation, we record this information to verify your software license.
  • App Version Information: We collect the current app version number to ensure the correct firmware and software updates are pushed to you.

2. How We Use Information

  • Device Binding and Verification: Use device identifiers to ensure software authorization is only valid on bound devices.
  • Remote Updates: Provide firmware OTA upgrade services through version information.
  • Troubleshooting: Record underlying operation logs for diagnosis when you provide feedback on issues.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: Your device recording configuration parameters and settings are primarily stored on your mobile device or the connected hardware device.
  • Cloud Transmission: Authorization verification and activation requests are sent to our backend server via encrypted channels (using Supabase secure infrastructure). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Permissions Explanation

  • USB/Storage Permissions: Used to access and configure connected hardware video recording devices.
  • Camera Permission: Used only for scanning QR codes to quickly enter device serial numbers.
  • Network Permission: Used for software activation, heartbeat checks, and downloading firmware updates.

5. Data Deletion

If you need to delete your account data or unbind a device, you can do so through the "Device Management" page within the app or by contacting our support team.
