How to install RecDual Link App?¶
RecDual Link Application is the companion app for managing your RecDual Dongle. Follow the steps below to download and install it on your device.
Android Installation¶
Open Google Play Store on your Android device.
Search for “RecDual Link” in the search bar.
Tap on the RecDual Link app from the search results.
Tap Install to begin downloading.
Wait for the installation to complete.
Tap Open to launch the app.
Note
If you cannot access Google Play Store, you can download the APK file directly from the RecDual Link download page.
Windows Installation¶
Visit the official ClonerAlliance website or Microsoft Store.
Search for “RecDual Link” application.
Download the Windows installer package.
Double-click the downloaded installer to run it.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
Launch RecDual Link from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
First Launch Setup¶
When you first open RecDual Link, the app will request the following permissions:
Storage Access: Required to read and write configuration files on your RecDual Dongle.
Notification Permission (Android): Optional, for firmware update alerts.
Important
Grant storage permissions when prompted. Without storage access, the app cannot communicate with your RecDual Dongle properly.
System Requirements¶
Android: Android 8.0 or later, OTG support
Windows: Windows 10 or later
