How to playback videos in RecDual Link App?¶
RecDual Link App allows you to stream and playback videos directly from your RecDual Dongle without downloading them first. You can also manage, download, and delete recorded files.
Prerequisites¶
RecDual Link App is activated and bound to your device
RecDual Dongle is connected and not recording
TF card with recorded videos is inserted in the device
Accessing Your Videos¶
Quick Access from Dashboard
Connect your RecDual Dongle to your phone/computer.
Open RecDual Link App.
On the Dashboard, find the “Recent Recordings” section.
Tap on any video to start playback immediately.
Full Video Library
From the Dashboard, tap Video Playback or the video icon.
Browse the complete list of recorded videos.
Videos are sorted by date (newest first by default).
Video Playback Features¶
Streaming Playback
No download required: Videos play directly from your RecDual Dongle.
Original quality: Full 1080p resolution playback.
Audio sync: Audio plays in sync with video.
Playback Controls
Play/Pause: Tap the play button or screen center.
Progress bar: Drag to seek to any position.
Full screen: Tap the fullscreen icon for immersive viewing.
Fast forward/Rewind: Drag the progress bar or use seek buttons.
File Management¶
Sorting and Filtering
You can organize your video list by:
Date: Ascending or descending
File size: Largest to smallest or vice versa
File name: Alphabetical order
Selecting Multiple Files
Tap the Select button or long-press any video.
Choose individual files or tap Select All.
Perform batch operations on selected files.
Downloading Videos¶
To save videos to your phone or computer:
Single Video Download
Open the video you want to download.
Tap the Download icon.
Choose a save location (if prompted).
Wait for the download to complete.
Batch Download
Enter selection mode by tapping Select.
Choose multiple videos.
Tap the Download button.
All selected videos will be downloaded.
Note
Downloaded videos are saved to:
Android: Gallery or Downloads folder
Windows: Specified folder or Videos library
Deleting Videos¶
To free up space on your TF card:
Delete Single Video
Long-press the video you want to delete.
Tap Delete.
Confirm the deletion.
Batch Delete
Enter selection mode.
Select videos to delete.
Tap the Delete button.
Confirm to permanently remove selected videos.
Warning
Deleted videos cannot be recovered. Make sure to download important recordings before deleting.
Troubleshooting Playback Issues¶
If videos won’t play:
Check connection: Ensure the device is properly connected.
Verify binding: Make sure the app is bound to the correct device.
File integrity: The video file may be corrupted if recording was interrupted.
Restart app: Close and reopen RecDual Link.
Reconnect device: Unplug and replug your RecDual Dongle.
