Why can’t I switch between H.264 and H.265 on ClonerAlliance UHD Pro Max?¶
You can easily switch between H.264 and H.265 by navigating to “Recording Settings” -> “Video Codec” in the OSD menu.
ClonerAlliance UHD Pro Max supports both H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC encoding for all recording resolutions, including 4K. You can freely choose your preferred codec based on your needs:
H.265/HEVC: Better compression efficiency, smaller file sizes, recommended for longer recordings.
H.264/AVC: Wider device and software compatibility, recommended for editing and sharing.
Note
The available bitrate options are 8/16/24/36/50 Mbps.
