Understanding LED indicators on ClonerAlliance UHD Halo

ClonerAlliance UHD Halo features a unique dual LED indicator system that provides instant visual feedback on the device’s operating status. The iconic HALO ring LED on top and side LED offer at-a-glance status information.

Top HALO Ring LED (Signal Source Indicator)

The top LED ring indicates which signal source is currently active:

Common LED Combinations

Understanding what different LED combinations mean:

Standby/Ready State

  • Top Green Solid + Side Green Solid: HDMI source connected, USB storage ready

  • Top Blue Solid + Side Blue Solid: Type-C DP source connected, TF card ready

  • Top Green Solid + Side Blue Solid: HDMI source connected, TF card ready

Recording State

  • Top Green Solid + Side Green Flashing: Recording HDMI source to USB storage

  • Top Blue Solid + Side Blue Flashing: Recording Type-C source to TF card

  • Top Green Solid + Side Blue Flashing: Recording HDMI source to TF card

Problem States

  • Top Green Flashing: HDMI cable connected but no video signal

  • Top Blue Flashing: Type-C connected but no DP signal (device doesn’t support DP Alt Mode)

  • No Side LED: No storage device detected - insert USB drive or TF card

Troubleshooting with LED Indicators

Top LED Flashing (No Solid Color):

  • Check video source is powered on

  • Verify cable connections

  • Try different HDMI/Type-C cable

  • For Type-C: Ensure device supports DP Alt Mode

No Side LED at All:

  • Insert USB storage device or TF card

  • Try reinserting storage device

  • Reformat storage device to exFAT

  • Try different storage device

LEDs Working但无录制:

  • Check storage device has sufficient space

  • Verify file system is supported (FAT32/NTFS/exFAT)

  • Check if storage is write-protected
