Unsupported Resolutions:
4K@120fps is NOT supported
When a 4K@120fps source is connected: - Device will attempt to negotiate down to 4K@60fps - If negotiation fails, “No Signal” will be displayed
Warning
For 4K@120fps sources, set the source device to output 4K@60fps before connecting to UHD Halo.
Frame Rate Matching:
Recording frame rate can match input or be set manually
For best quality, use native source frame rates
PAL regions: 25fps/50fps
NTSC regions: 24fps/30fps/60fps
Resolution Recommendations¶
For Gaming:
Input: 4K@60fps or 1080p@60fps
Recording: 4K@60fps (50Mbps bitrate) or 1080p@60fps (24Mbps)
Passthrough: 4K@60fps for minimal latency
For Mobile Devices:
Type-C Input: Typically 1080p@60fps or 4K@30fps
Recording: Match input resolution
Enables screen recording with charging
For Content Creation:
Input: 4K@60fps from camera/HDMI source
Recording: 4K@60fps with H.265 codec for space efficiency
