Using the remote control with ClonerAlliance UHD Halo

The ClonerAlliance UHD Halo comes with a remote control for convenient one-hand operation. This article explains the button layout and functions.

Setup

  • The remote control uses 2 × AAA batteries (not included).

  • Insert the batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the remote.

  • If the remote control needs pairing or becomes unmatched, press and hold the “i” button for about 5 seconds, then follow the OSD pairing prompt.

Return to the previous menu level

Start or stop recording

Pause or resume an active recording

Capture a snapshot of the current video frame

PLAYBACK

Enter playback mode to review recorded files

Advanced Function

Long Press Right Arrow Key: When on the Firmware Version screen (Menu → System Settings → Firmware Version), long-pressing the right arrow key activates a special mode for handling certain protected content scenarios.

Operating Range

  • Operating range: Approximately 10 meters in an open environment.

  • Walls or obstacles may reduce the effective range.

Battery Life

The remote has a long battery life under normal use. If the remote becomes unresponsive, replace the AAA batteries.
