How to update firmware on ClonerAlliance UHD Halo?¶
This article explains how to check your current firmware version and perform a firmware update on the ClonerAlliance UHD Halo.
Step 1: Check the Current Firmware Version¶
Press MENU on the remote control to open the main menu.
Navigate to System Settings.
Select Firmware Version.
Note the current firmware version number displayed on the screen.
Step 2: Download the Latest Firmware¶
Visit the official ClonerAlliance website or contact ClonerAlliance customer support to obtain the latest firmware file for the UHD Halo.
Download the firmware file to your computer.
Step 3: Prepare a USB Flash Drive¶
Connect a USB flash drive to your computer.
Format the USB drive to FAT32 (recommended for firmware files).
Copy the downloaded firmware file to the root directory of the USB flash drive. Do not place it inside a subfolder.
Step 4: Perform the Firmware Update¶
Insert the prepared USB flash drive into the USB 3.0 port on the UHD Halo.
Press MENU on the remote control to open the main menu.
Navigate to System Settings → Firmware Version.
The device will automatically detect the firmware file on the USB drive.
Select Update to begin the firmware update process.
Follow the on-screen instructions and wait for the update to complete.
The UHD Halo will restart automatically after the update is finished.
Step 5: Verify the Update¶
After the device restarts, press MENU → System Settings → Firmware Version.
Confirm that the firmware version number has been updated to the latest version.
Important Warnings¶
Do not power off or disconnect the device during the firmware update process. Interrupting the update may damage the device.
Ensure the USB flash drive is properly connected before starting the update.
Only use firmware files officially provided by ClonerAlliance for the UHD Halo model.
If the firmware update fails, do not attempt to update again immediately. Contact ClonerAlliance support for assistance.
