Live streaming setup guide for ClonerAlliance UHD Halo

The ClonerAlliance UHD Halo can be used as a UVC capture card to send video to a PC for live streaming. This guide covers the connection, software setup, and recommended settings.

Connection

  1. Connect the video source (e.g., game console) to the HDMI IN port on the UHD Halo.

  2. Connect the UHD Halo to your PC using a USB Type-C cable (to the UVC port).

  3. The PC will automatically recognize the UHD Halo as a USB video capture device.

Software Setup in OBS Studio

  1. Open OBS Studio on your PC.

  2. In the Sources panel, click the + button and select Video Capture Device.

  3. In the device dropdown, select ClonerAlliance UHD Halo.

  4. Set the Resolution to 1080p and the Framerate to 60fps.

  5. Configure your stream destination (e.g., YouTube, Twitch) in the Stream settings.

  6. Click Start Streaming to begin.

Other Compatible Software

  • Streamlabs Desktop — Follow the same steps as OBS Studio to add a video capture device source.

  • Any software that supports standard UVC capture devices can be used.

Performance Specifications

  • Output resolution: Up to 1080p@60fps via UVC

  • Latency: Approximately 34ms — suitable for real-time game streaming

  • Simultaneous recording: The UHD Halo can record to a USB or TF card at the same time as streaming to the PC
