Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Re-insert the USB device — Remove the USB device and plug it back in firmly. It is recommended to insert the USB device before powering on the UHD Halo.

  2. Try a different USB port — If the UHD Halo has multiple USB ports, try plugging into another one.

  3. Test the USB device on a PC — Connect the same USB device to a computer to verify it is working correctly.

  4. Format the device — Format the USB device to exFAT or NTFS using a PC. See Storage device formatting guide for ClonerAlliance UHD Halo for formatting instructions.

  5. Repair disk errors — If Windows displays a prompt to repair the USB device when it is connected, run the repair and try again.

  6. Try a different USB device — If the issue persists, the USB device may be incompatible with the UHD Halo.

Important Notes

  • Some USB storage devices may not be compatible with the UHD Halo due to driver or power requirements.

  • Large-capacity mobile hard drives may require an additional external power supply. Powered USB hubs can help in this case.

  • It is best practice to insert the USB device before turning on the UHD Halo to ensure proper detection.
